About the community
The Queer Care Community is an intimate on- and offline space for earth-loving queers to be together. It is an ever evolving ecosystem of care that has grown into a deeply rooted community and chosen family.
This is so much more than an online membership - it is a learning space for radical hope, where we come together to build a real & supportive community that can hold us through life’s ups and downs.
If you have been longing to feel like you belong and to be loved by a bunch of sweet, quirky and deeply caring queers, this is the place is for you.

This Summer season
Through this upcoming season’s program we will expand on the theme of “community resilience” and how we can put our collective skills into practice together.
This Summer season we will experiment with community making through our slow book club read; “Picnicking Matters”. We will explore the “social change ecosystem map” framework in a workshop on building healthy ecosystems of care hosted by Toyah, and we will have two skill-shares led by community members. And as always, we will slow down and care together during our bi-weekly care sessions.
Extra program:
This season we have an extra multisession workshop “The Resilience Toolkit” which will hosted by embodiment facilitator Misha
More info on each session can be found below
Queer Care Sessions

During the Queer Care Sessions we collectively make room to care for ourselves and each other; read that book you’ve been meaning to read for so long, go for a walk, create, cook, sing, dance or just witness your community in care.
The care sessions start with a check-in and from there on out we work on something caring for ourselves and witness each other do the same. In the chat there is room to check in further and share with the community. -
There are two care sessions held every month. The care sessions take place every other Friday on Zoom, between 11AM and 12PM (CET). Replays are available on the community page.

About your host
Toyah (she/they) Is a neuroqueer artist, community facilitator, organizer & the founder of Garden of Queerdom. No, this space welcomes all sexualities/genders/beings. It is however a “queer centered” space, meaning that it centers the experiences of queer people through the topics and discussions we engage in.

Price & labor transparency
It has always been our goal to make Garden of Queerdom as accessible as possible to our community. We never want money to stand in the way of much needed community and queer care, and would never send people away for this reason.
However, it is also important for us to recognize that we, as queer and neurodivergent artists, should also receive a fair wage for our labor. A lot of time, care and energy is poured into this community and without the proper care for ourselves and our livelihood, we can not uphold the work that we do in a sustainable way.
We want to be as transparent as possible about how our time is spent and the pricing that has come from that. We feel that this creates more room for other queer entrepreneurs and creatives to also receive a fair wage for their labor, therefor creating more financial safety for all of us.
Below you will find a rough overview of the minimum amount of hours that are spent by one person, every month on managing the Queer Care Community alone.
